About Me
Why I'm Running for Mayor:
I am running for Mayor of San Ramon. I am a passionate leader with a sharp vision, a problem solver, a good decision-maker with high values and integrity. Our city needs strong leadership that works for our residents to maintain a good quality of life by optimizing the city budget efficiently. Our residents don’t want any further increase in utility bills or other taxes which is overwhelmingly high. Instead, we should be focusing on creative strategies to utilize the funds in more judicious and economical ways. Moreover, I am very concerned about the huge 25-year development proposal of the City Walk Master Plan at Bishop Ranch during this unprecedented and uncertain time.
I am passionate about serving my city and the residents of this beautiful community. I am stepping up to solve our community’s challenges with practical solutions.
I am a 15-year resident of San Ramon. My husband and I have raised two wonderful children who are attending schools in the district. I have my bachelor's in Electronics and Communication Engineering from India. I am an accomplished professional with 18+ years of industrial experience in the telecom sector.
Since 2017, I am a full-time business owner in San Ramon. I am also serving my third term as one of the Board of Directors for the San Ramon Chamber of Commerce. As part of the Chamber’s Governmental Affairs Committee, I am deeply involved in making decisions on several ordinances and bills. I have attended city events and meetings collaborated with city officials and community leaders, and have seen firsthand the various pressing issues our city is currently facing. I am stepping up to solve our community’s challenges with practical solutions.
We are fortunate to live in such a vibrant city that embraces inclusion and diversity. I am stepping up for solving complex community challenges that I couldn’t ignore. Our city needs strong leadership and vision that leads us to a better future.

San Ramon is a diversified vibrant community and considered one of the safest cities to live and raise our kids. In recent years San Ramon has experienced tremendous change and growth, and we need to make sure that it remains the place we are proud to call home.
Future to believe in!
As your Mayor, I will work for the community with due diligence and get things done without getting influenced by any special interests. I believe in standing up for what is right. I have strong leadership skills with the passion, motivation, vision, and integrity to keep our city moving forward.
